Moonlove
I am seduced by the moon. Her glorious round shape, the shine from father Sol that lights her face and the pull of her heavenly energy on full moon nights.
How can one ignore the bright orb? How can one ignore the heavens at all? I am not so inclined to think that we humans have not at one time or another looked skyward at the night sky and wondered at the magnificent, otherworldly moon. Or, who amongst us at least once if not hundreds of times, on a full moon night questioned: “what sort of craziness will this night bring?”
One cannot deny her power over our awe-inspiring mother Gaia. Ok, this is not to say Gaia allows anything to have power over her, but Luna, well, she is an extraordinary sort of power. The tides do not question the moon, they only feel the pull and react as the must. Or consider the cycle of the moon in her 29.5-day cycle and how it almost reflects our year of 365 days, not quite but almost. Then there are the creatures of Gaia’s realm that actually live their lives by the moon. Perhaps the corals who spawn around the full moon, or perhaps watch your own creatures and how they respond to the moon and her power.
Indeed, earthlings, our bewitching Moon has and will continue to play her part in Gaia’s cycles.
